The funniest thing was was when Dennis Law scored against you and got you relegated, early days but I reckon mid table finish looks about right.

GOOD JOB MAN CITY. YOU ARE MAKING IT EASIER FOR US TO WIN THE LEAGUE. UP THE TOON!!

Except for one thing. Saw two city goals, each one won a game, each one was scored when they were being hopelessy outplayed, and each one was very lucky.

City really playing some very poor football, yet they have won 3 games. But you know what it means when they play like that. They will end the season somewhere around 8th to 10th. I'll even put money on it.

If I was you, I'd be more worried about City then United. By the way, I am not a United fan. But I know what I have seen when watching City. Total cr.p

Edit: I'll get lots of thumbs down, not because I'm wrong but because you just hate the truth. The more thumbs down the better, because the more I know that you think I'm right. City will fall because they play Cr.p.

First of all Denis Law's goal did not releghate Unityed. They could have won 10 - 0 that day and still gone down. That's an old urban myth.

As as feeling smug, I don't think you've really got it right. I've watched United since 1955 and saw the old team, most of whom were killed in the Munich disaster. In those days my dad told me to watch all rthe lopcal team,s, United, Bolton and City and choose which one i would support. I chose United due to the special atmosphere at Old Trafford that was missing from Burnden Park and Maine Road. I was always taught to appaud opponents and cheer my own team, something i do to this day. I don't 'hate' and other team, at the end ogf the day (to use a footballe expression) they're all opponents and without them there'd be no game. Over the years I saw all the great players including Geiorge Best's first game, Denis law's first game and many others, Stanley Mattghews, Tom Finney and so on. Wherever United finish to me doesn't matter. As long as they play the entertaining football for which they are renowned (which is more than can be said for many other teams) and do theuir best then so be it. Good luck to whoever wins the league as long as they don't do it by continually cheating as some players are prone to do.

I don't know who you support but most people who call United do it out of jealousy as their own team is not as successful or attractive. No dounbt that is your motive. Why not be a true fan and accept the game for what it is, a season long competition between 20 teams providing some of the best sporting entertainment in the world.

I wouldn`t be so c0ck-happy my friend. Not with the manager you`ve got. I can`t see City doing anything this season or the next.
Whereas Manchester United will finish miles above your lot.
And I don`t support Man Utd. It`s just plain facts!!!

I'm feeling pretty damned sheepish after mocking my dad's appauling football team for about 15 years of my life on for them to get good!

At least my boyfriend supports Leeds, so there's still mocking to be done!

You need to watch sports and cheer when your team wins, because you know you are failing in your own lives.
