If I understand your question, it is like someone that is angry. When a guy is grumpy it is like warming up or getting over any of the other negative emotions or moods it just has to run its course. My suggestion, when grumpy, give him a wide berth and allow some space to vent without being affected by the fallout. That way when he recovers, you will be in that happy and smiling mood and could offer coffee or something instead of arsenic.

LOL!! Honey it is a man thing. We think you should be just as unhappy as us since you chose us to be your one and only. Too bad we don't feel as bad when you are grumpy. Hope it gets better!!

why would you let someone else set your "mood" . just walk away when it gets bad.. come back in a few hours when he's cooled off some.
