It seems that you're on a 6-8 point scale. My cousin uses a 7 point scale, but she has A+ & A- in between, but I think it's harsh to say 93 is a B. My scale goes like this...
97-100: A+
92-96: A
90-91: A-
87-89: B+
82-86: B
80-81: B-
77-79: C+
72-76: C
70-71: C-
69: D+
67-68: D
66: D-
0-65: U (which is an F, basically)

Yeah, actually, it's a lot tougher than my school.
98-100 - A+
92-97 - A
90-91 - A-
88-89 - B+
82-87 - B
80-81 - B-
78-79 - C+
72-77 - C
70-71 - C-
68-69 - D+
62-67 - D
60-61 - D-
Below 60 - F

80 - 90 B
70 - 80 C
60 - 70 D

It isn't too much off of the standard scale. Usually 65 is the cut off and 90-100 is an A, but it depends on how the teacher assigns value to the work.

I think that is a bit tough!
In my high school 50 was a C.
In college 50 was around a D/E.
If you think about it, getting a mark of 50, when out of 100, you got half of the questions right, so saying 69 or below is an F (or a fail) is a little harsh.

B- 85-92
C- 77-84

When I moved to privates school it was
