There is only one obstacle. It is her tongue and its permanent I guess.
I expressed my feelings once and listening hers since then.

For me being away from that loved one is temporary (even though its awhile). But we keep in touch even though we are away from each other. Either by phone, writing cards or letters or emailing. So despite the distance which is our only obstacle we are stronger than ever. We keep growing stronger in my opinion because we are still there for each despite the distance..not face to face. But keeping in touch keeps us together and forms a bond. That no distance can break.

That is excellent advice.......IF......both parties want it. If the spouse/SO that is the problem doesn't want to change, is hard to just let the status quo go on. They won't change unless they want to, so usually the other party has to make a rash decision to be able to continue being happy. Hopefully, this rash decision brings about the change you're talking about. Thanks.
