“I just finished reading the tragic story of a young boys struggle to survive. I am reading this story for a class that I am taking and have not put it down since I opened it. While reading, all I could feel is ANGER. I could not believe the things Dave had to endure. I found myself in complete shock and in tears. This story has open my eyes to the sad reality of "child abuse". I am studying to become a teacher, and am aware that I will be in contact with students who have stories like Daves. It is my responsibility to make myself aware of these harsh siuations and am determined to do whatever I can do in order to prevent a story like Daves to occur again.”
