How sad you are! The McCanns made a mistake, I have made mistakes and I have no doubt, unless you are perfect, that you have made mistakes as well. The difference is they are going to have to live with their mistake for the rest of their lives.

This reminds me of a case in Australia about a woman called Lindy Chamberlain and it was regarding a baby called Azaria which she claims was taken at a campsite by Dingoes, (they actually made a film with Meryl Streep playing the part of Lindy). The woman, Lindy, was vilified for leaving her baby for a few moments and said that she saw a dingo, (wild dog), take the baby. It was a sensational trial and she was a very cold and what seemed calculating woman..well she was found guilty of murder and sent to prison...but...later on it was found that a dingo had in fact taken her baby and eaten it..she was released and all convictions quashed..don't be too hasty to judge others..did the parents make a mistake?? yes they did..and how many other parents make mistakes, are they regretting it ..yes they are, and probably will do for the rest of their lives. Just because they don't fit your criteria of what a grieving parent should be, does not mean they are not feeling the full impact of the disappearance of their daughter. As for calling them evil, well I think that's a bit too much, but that's your opinion and your entitled to it. I disagree.

I guess you don't like the The McCanns.. But you know something i doubt if they like themselves right now and i bet they don't sleep at night!. Your rhetoric is too simple and falls a long way Short of understanding the horror of what has gone on.

To say that they are evil is too strong!, Big headed and careless might be a better expression to use. anyway what ever description used they will have to live with their mistake for the rest of their lives. I don't enevy them one bit..

I don't believe they are evil, if someone took your child in whatever way would you be considered evil, I think you are overwrought, perhaps you are a parent, perhaps not, but I am not defending them, but also I am not for this witch hunt that's going on. It seems very unlikely they will get little Madeleine back and that surely will be everlasting punishment, and losing their other two children isn't the answer. If you want to know about evil read about Myra Hindley and Ian Brady who abducted, tortured and murdered children some years ago a notorious pair who were evil personified.

Have you seen any remorse from these people. A person who has lost a child does not behave as these two have. I know - I am one of many parents who have lost a child. They are too cold and calculating for my taste.

oh god another keyboard moralist this Maddie story never have i seen so many mean spirited people seemly revel in
schadenfreude
only one person needs to be punished that's the person who took the little girl.
if they hadn't of got Maddie they would have taken another kid.

"oh why must you kick them when they fall down?"

You know, there is a funny little thing called a trial before people are put in prison.

And before the trial there's a minor detail called a charge.

It's people who don't believe in such things should be put in prison.
