What is the most interesting (hopefully scary) dream you've ever had?

I'm writing a looong story, and it's kind of like a modern day Alice in wonderland, but I'm hoping to make it scary. Please help me with ideas...

What is the scariest dream you've ever had? Or, most interesting?

I'm really hoping for a lot of answers... So ANY ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

okay how about when i was 26. i had a dream about me kidnapping my nieces and other children. thinking they would be better off with me then their parents. i remember using my oldest niece at that time was 10 and had her doing some work be coaxing other children to come into the dumpster and if they came in they never left. we lived in a dumpster as a house and i had blocked the dumpster from dumping trash on us buy building a ceiling out of cardboard and wood it worked in my dream i do remember the scary part of this is when i got caught i held the children as hostages. i remember quite clear the red and blue lights a helicopter. i remember some how one of the children don't remember who convinced me to let go of them and let them go and they loved me for taking care of them. do the right thing and turn myself in. before i woke up i was laying on the ground with handcuffs on and was fighting the cops where i ended up having to be hog tied down and thrown in the police car then woke up. a dream that has stuck with me for 6 years hope you enjoy at least reading about it.

OK it really don't make alot of sense. But her it goes. One dream that I had felt so real. I am not sure exactly where I was all I know is I was with some friends and my boyfriend yet I was all alone. It was like I was watching over them because I couldn't talk to any of them. All of a sudden there was a shooting going on and I became real and got shot they rushed me to the hospital but I woke up and it was all a dream but it was a dream inside a dream. I woke up and nothing had happened but I was yelling when I woke up and my boyfriend asked me what was wrong and I was screaming I have been shot! He told me it was all a dream and then I actually woke up and I was laying there and he was holding me. It scared me anyway. It was so real feeling but it wasn't real at all.

i was asleep and I'm on the 3rd floor of the house and i have those slanted windows in the roof some guy - looked a bit like the vampires in fall out boys - a little less 16 candles vid and a but like edward scissor hands well he climbed in and woke me up n i couldn't scream so i smacked him round the head with a piece of wood wiv a nail in (don't ask) and then he split into 2 of him then kept duplicating till he filled my whole room, i escaped by smashing my wall down and falling face down towards the bottom of the stairs then i woke up - and shut my windows and checked under my bed and in all my cupboards for the scary guy .... thanks 4 reminding me!! i wont be able to sleep now!! :( lol have fun writing hope my strange dream helped

It was the middle ages, I was in a castle with other royal people dressed in fancy garb.

I noticed that every night, a person would go missing.

There was a rumor that there was a zombie amongst us and that every night, he would kill someone and take a body part from them, skin, heart, blood, etc.

And according to a poem posted up against the wall, it was said that if you wore a cetain color on one night, you would be taken. Most people didn't believe this, but I took precautions.

One night I read the poem and saw that that night the zombie would take the blood from someone wearing blue.I was wearing blue.

I went to my room to change fast, but someone had turned my whole room blue! I quickly changed into red clothing and covered all the blue.

And then I woke up.

Well, I'll tell you one, its a bit awkward... but it sure freaked me out and made me upset...

Well... there was this group in the future... that would brainwash people... and make them on their side. I was part of this underground society that would keep people from being brainwashed. The people who were brainwashed were however not able to be turned back. They were just basically zombies. All of these fights and everything went on... it finally turned out that we won. What happened though... was that when we went back... I found out that my own mother got brainwashed... and she was going to try to kill us. So all this time... when we were in the same room (a big sized room), i keep on going over memories that we shared with eachother... and everything... and she kept on repeating "dont you love me? if you loved me you would join me." so when i finally decided that I couldnt change her back, (when she was about to kill me), I had to stab her in her heart (I guess the only way to kill them) and her last words when she looked up at me were... "I thought you loved me" then she died. I was about 16 at the time and I have to tell you I cried the entire night after I woke up and I didnt go back to sleep for about a week.
Its not really scary but it gets you on the verge of tears.

or I had another one when I was just falling... I know I was going fast but it took forever... onto flat concrete... knowing nothing can protect you. Face down. Thats a scary dream.

I lost my car in a huge parking complex, went into the elevator with few people, they all got off on one floor and as the elevator closes, i lean back to wait, and suddenly notice a guy standing in the mirror of the elevator. got freak out and woken up.

I'ce had a dream that a T-rex was chasing me around the local park. Lol. I've also had a dream of me holding my hamster then all of a sudden it starts falling apart. I think my hamster haunts me in my dreams... O.o

I had a dream about living in a house in the middle of the ocean, watching whales go by.... I though it was pretty cool

when my mom and sister and grandma went to michigan to get my brother and on the way back it was just my brother and my sister and my mom , but they got in a horrible car accident and died, then my step-dad took all the money from my mom and his account and left with his two kids, and i was stuck there with nobody to take care of me. that was my dream just last night so, it's still a little fresh in my memory :(

a recurring one in which i keep falling,but i always wake up before i hit the ground.i can feel the fall in my sleep like when you dive off a high diving board.
