Today is my son's 41'st birthday, he sent me and E and said he was going to watch NASCAR, and discuss the good old days and bowel movements with anyone that would listen. Any good laughs for you today??

Ah lil Abner...that makes me laugh! It reminded me of taking care of my father, and it seemed that once he passed 90, all he could EVER talk about were the state of his bowels!?!

Other than that...no, no serious smiles. I am still trying to recover from 12 hours at the city fair yesterday, and needing to accompany my three grandsons on their "scarier rides" in order to help them feel "safe". OH, and I am seriously contemplating that long needed diet, just so that when I take them to the fair again NEXT year, I can at least be comfortable while I'm having those bowel movements scared out of me!! :)

I had a smile starting off Sunday (this morning), then I visited a senior citizen, and the conversation went round in so many contradictory circles, now I'm thoroughly confused

gee, at 41 sounds like your son needs to get out a little more for some recreation and relaxation. perhaps he needs to get a hobby in which there is some beneficial physical and mental activity instead of watching the television.

Your son could use a serious shot of "life." I have found myself in ruts many times in my long life....I am in one now, and your question brought a smile to my face. The last time I was in a rut on a Sunday morning, by Sunday afternoon, I owned a motorcycle....Lord, let's hope this rut doesn't lead to that again!

Yes it was a lovely morning, and sitting watching my dogs in their 2nd puppy-hood all playing and chasing round the back garden certainly made me smile.

I'm always smiling no matter what day it is. My son called me today just to say hello, & we had a nice chat. That always puts a great big smile on my face, especially when he says, "I Love You," before he hangs up. :D

Nope, no plans for fun today!

Absolutely! Too little time left to not smile. Besides doesn't it take less effort to smile?
