Yes. I'm interested whether or not my answer helped or if it was chosen by voters. The "popular" answer is good but I'd rather my answer helped the questioner in some way.

Always. Oddly enough, the feedback is not always gracious despite the awarding of the points. Still, how can you not be atleast curious? Winning the points via voting is not nearly as satisfying. All part of the experience I guess.
