I don't just feel it, I KNOW I am. But hey, they say as long as you allow it, then you'll be invisible.

Most of it is my own fault for being so willing and "available", but I wouldn't purposely avoid being able to help someone, that's not me at all.

So, what would you rather be..? Willing and able to help, or selfish and ignorant. I know it's kind of demoralising and draining to always be on the go yet unappreciated, but at the same time, it's good to know I can do my bit. My reward is elsewhere.

Anyone who says no to your answer is pulling wool over his / her eyes.

You are taken for granted from the time you are born till the time you die. You are expected to live, work, study, pray etc in a certain manner. You are expected to follow a certain religion....... etc etc.

Now try to buck any of these expectations and you will know what is the meaning of being taken for granted.

Everyone expected you to toe the line and it is taken for granted, and when you do something to the contrary and they realize that they cannot take you for granted then the fun begins.

On yes, then the fun begins in life.

Think about it..........

All the time. And what ticks me off is that if I say anything about it they go into a tyraid. I don't like the confrontation of it all. But gee. What about me? I guess I just don't matter as long as I still do for others.

i am always taken for granted, but I am on the way to rectifying that. You also find out who your friends are and who take you for granted.

A few times. I chalk it up with the same people that whine and protest, yet they take their freedom for granted but won't serve their country.

as a matter of fact, right now at this very moment as I'm typing! But................. I'm already over it. I don't dwell on it, because I never take myself for granted and that's all that matters right now.

I did

but now I know I never will be again.

And he never will either.......cos if by chance he ever feels that way and I really hope to God he never does, that means I've done something terribly wrong, and I would never forgive myself.
