I know POPULAR is the term for a person who is well-known & well-liked. What about a person who is well-known but well-hated?

***I was well-known & well-hated in high school. Does that term happen to be INFAMOUS?

Well infamous is having a reputation of the worst kind; notoriously evil. I am sure you were not infamous - who cares what a bunch of high school twits thought of you.

Rejected would most likely be the term. But again, who cares about being rejected by a bunch of high school losers.

I think we should invent a term after Paris Hilton.... something like....hmmmm......hiltonish.....notorious and infamous could be some terms.....but you can be hated even if you don't do bad things....so it depends on the situation....
