Every now and then, I like to change the picture that is on my desktop on my computer. Recently, when I go to change it, the list of pictures to select is gray and I can't click on it. It only lets me change it to a color, and not a picture. I tried changing it through MY PICTURES, but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.

First you must choose what picture you want for your desktop. Look through the internet, download it from a camera, etc. Then save it to your My Pictures folder. In order to upload the picture to become your desktop picture, go to the control panel, click on appearance/themes, go to change computer desktop background, and then click the button that says browse. Clicking this will open a window where you can search your computer for a picture. Select the picture you saved in your My Pictures folder and then you're set.

Sounds like your video card is going bad. Since it is on the motherboard, there isn't much you can do about it. Hope your computer is still under warranty.
