my friend told me to find my dog in uranus. Where is that?

90% of the answerers shouldn't even be in the astronomy section. If they want to stay here then they certainly should not be giving answers to the questions they should just be observing and learning. It is from these type of persons that cause incorrect information and crazy theories to spawn.

Anyone with an elementary education in astronomy should know the proper pronounciation for the planet Uranus. For every joker with their brains in the gutter here it is:

Uranus pronounced YUR-uh-nus

It's amazing to find how low the intelligence curve is when a question like this gets so many hits.

Your friend has a low IQ and it reflects in his attempt at humor. He was trying to say your anus. Please correct him on the proper pronounciation of the planet's name. It will make him (and the other answerers here) look like the real ***.

What's even more amazing is the dumb *** that is giving serious answers a thumbs down.

The planet Uranus is currently located in the constellation Aquarius, very close to the fourth magnitude star Phi Aquarii. It is visible in binoculars as a point of light, and as a tiny blue-green disk in small telescopes.

I don't know anything about your dog, but I can tell you that Uranus jokes are not considered funny by anyone over the age of 10.

Uranus, the seventh planet from the Sun.
Saturn is 1,321,416,800 kilometers from Earth

I doubt your dog is on Uranus, but HAPPY SEARCHING!

Great link to find anything unless you are not proficient yet with your scope but all the other planets are great practice in tracking and finding an object, and focus on it. Such immense distances to Uranus; to sight an object requiring serious magnification like that is quite a find and something to be proud of when you actually do it. Good luck

RLMAO...... I think he was joking wiht you URanus is the rear part of your body....is that lil hole that opens at certain time of the day to expulse a whole buch of toxins that been in your body, these toxins are often called feces because along with toxins all the waste the things that your body doesn't need goes in there. This whole also oens when you need to pass gas specially after eating bean burritos with cheese oh and if you are lactose intolerant (can't drink milk) you probably experience a lot of this when you do eat anythign containing lactose (milk)...most people believe that that hole only serves one purpose. However, is amazing to read what other uses people give to this nasty litle fellow ( I guess not so little when is abuse).

Uranus is in your pants. By the remark your friend made it sounds like he was saying you are gay. "A dog in uranus."

This is actually a play on words. Uranus is a planet in the outer reaches of our solar system.

Your friend was playing a word game on you. "Uranus" could be said as Ur Anus ("your anus").

I can't believe you asked that.
If you are serious, you can probably find astronomy charts online. The dog constellation is Sirius.
Uranus is one of the planets in our solar system, which found itself short a planet last year.
