chores for money. i'm gonna guess she can earn an allowance (5-10 bucks a week depending on tasks). others could include (depending on skill and whether the payer doesn't mind some damage) washing a car, ironing a shirt, cleaning a room, etc.
cleaning the room would probably be best, those little guys will really work hard and their little hands can clean places even a dust buster won't.
other than that, maybe make a deal with parents or otherwise wealthy relation (think grandparents) for rewards based on school. (if they get up without hassle and get ready in a timely fashion, $1; an A on a test $1; A on report card $5, straight As you get the DS). good luck to your cousin.

I am hoping the other person was serious about sending you money. If you don't receive it, why don't you ask around and see if you can collect the money from neighbors, friends and relatives. The poor kid is ill. She shouldn't be worrying about how to collect money for a Nintendo. Also, may a merchant will give you a discount, considering the circumstances. Another way to go about this is to check and see if there is a charity where you live who will donate one. Or, put a listing on craigslist and see if someone on there will donate it. Good luck.

$120.00 in 7 days ? At the age of 10 ? I wont say that its impossible but, truth to tell, I have no idea what she could do to earn it. She oughta ask her parents for a nintendo ds for christmas or for her next birthday. And, if they say that she needs to earn the money then thats the same as saying that theyre not gonna buy it for her.

last time i checked, cutting grass was good for $15 a lawn. a couple weeks with 3 or 4 lawns earn her some quick cash. manual labor is good for the soul. i started cutting grass at 10.

A lemonade stand. Seriously, the ingredients are inexpensive and it is something that is relatively easy to do. Besides as much heat as most of the country has had later it would probably be a great seller.

she can try going to a "platos closet" or a place to sell gently used brand name clothes. also maybe old CD's or books she may have a half priced books store will buy those from her.
or you can always try a garage sale...i just had one and made about $500. i paid off some bills and had some extra cash, and on top of that, i got rid of a bunch of junk!
hope that helps!

she should ask her parents if there is any work she can do around the house to earn money. She can also help neighbors with yard work and dog walking.
