If you like it without the aerator, no need for it at all. Some faucets spray funny without the aerator. Also, the aerator will trap any scale from the pipes and just has to be cleaned out periodically. So leave it off!

Except in the kitchen where you wouldn't want any debris to end up in your drinking water, etc.

Aerators are included on most faucets generally, to cut down the actual flow of water to eliminate splashing. The action of adding the air bubbles to the flow of water actually makes the water feel softer, which many women like.

Aerators are designed to give a faucet water pressure while conserving water. Without the aerator, it takes nearly double the water usage to, for instance, wash your hands, or take a shower.

THE AIREATOR SERVES SEVRERAL FUNTIONS 1 IT SOFTENS THE FLOW OF WATER 2 IT CATCHES DEBRIS FROM THE WATER LINES (ROCKS,CALCIUM DEPOSITS,ETC.) 3 IF YOU LOOK AT THE WATER WHRN IT COMES OUT OF THE AIREATOR IT IS FULL OF BUBBLES ALSO,THIS KEEPS THE WATER FROM SPLASHING ALL OVER YOU.
