why are friends so mean??

all the friends ive ever had are awsome at first but then they begin 2 suck.. there are dayz when tons of friends will call and want 2 get together..then there are some dayz when i think they all hate me cuz they dont call or answer the phone... does anyone else have this problem

Sometimes you can get along great with friends, but at the same time they get on your very last nerve. I have a great friend that is always there for me and gives me good advice, but at the same time she is always late when we go places and never answers her phone when most important and other things like that that make me want to slap her. With friends, we tend to get comfortable as the friendship progresses because we soon think our friends wont mind when do stupid things or make mistakes. Its better to have more than one friend or groups of friends because you never want to feel like your stuck with a group of people or if something happens you have noone to turn to for companionship. The next time they dont answer the phone, leave a voicemail and text. If they dont call you back, make other plans. But make sure if they do tell them your situation with them never answering the phone. Communication is best!! Besides, meeh time is important too so take advantage of it.

Jessica, keep one thing in mind. Your friends like you as much as you like them.

I always try to help everyone and in return don't expect anything from the most. Everybody likes this type of friendship that when you need them they are there for you, but try to remember - how many times you followed that.

If you did - I am sure you have or will find a true friend someday. In my life, I have found just one. Other friends have come and went away but that friend ha remained for the last 26 years. Not all were selfish though. Some came and helped me back in the need but got busy in their own lives and maybe made other set of friends that could take them forward in life.

Move On. This is what life seems to tell. Be a true friend to all and life will reward you with one as true friends are very rare and God can't give all of those to you only.

Have a nice and busy time! You will feel the need lesser.

Friends need their space from you. It doesn't mean they hate you or don't like you, but they just can't always be with you and center their lives around you. Don't worry about it, they still like you and are still your friends, they are just busy. I used to think the same thing about my friends, but then one day my best friend explained it to me, and I've realized that he was right. Just leave them alone when they don't call you back or call you. You'll still have those friends in the morning.

sometimes we have to entertain ourselves.

it's nice to have friends, but it's also necessary to have hobbies or enjoy activities on your own time, too.

perhaps find a hobby or something to keep you occupied?

our friends aren't always available to do things with us. that doesn't mean they don't like you, because i'm sure they do...

the problem might be that you don't spend constructive time doing things YOU enjoy when they aren't around.

yeah i do i just think it depends on how they feel like where i live all my mates get together on like really sunny days and on gloomy days we dont really even talk to eachother
