I love sweet potatoes , but I forgot about one that was in the cupboard and it has started growing . I'm curious to know if I will be able to grow my own .

Cut off a good sized chunk with the growing part and plant it in loose soil on a hilled up area. It is called a "slip", and that is the way it is done, hon.

Plant the whole potato, and give it plenty of room to vine.
