We have to keep turing it off...anyone know why this is happening and what to do?

Your low on freon, you need to have the unit recharged.

i guess from you question is the a/c unit line is freezing..
if this what you meant then it could be two things.... the first check your filters, if real dirty change them, this could be problem, second would be you hvea low gas charge and when its hot like its been it will freeze, have the freon checked
as it is low , even a 1/2 lb low will do this.. remember to replace the caps to low and high presure sides as a small leak can be there and once filled to normal pressure will help
from leaking......

RE: Our significant air unit retains freezing up -? it's freezing from the coils each and each of ways out to the line that is going to the unit! Does every person understand why it fairly is doing this? i'm uninterested in not having A/C!

You might have a leak in the line, and the freon freezes at the point of the hole or crack. Call a pro, and it ain't gonna be cheap.

Low on freon from the sounds of it, now you need someone to come out and recharge it.
