The name of the singer is Terry Jacks. "Seasons In The Sun" was a French song written by Jacques Brel. The English lyrics were written by poet Rod McKuen. It was previously recorded by the Kingston Trio in 1963.
Terry and his wife Susan also were part of the pop group "The Poppy Family" whose biggest hit was :Which Way You Goin' Billy" in 1970.
