I don't believe so, at least not the core. It should pass to the north. Even if it was to track a bit further southward, Belize would be in the southern part of the hurricane, where the effects would be less than the northern portion. It's usually the right front portion of the hurricane (just outside of the eye) where the worst effects occur.

The latest information (Sunday, 9 PM) suggest that the path of the hurricane should go over the Northern tip of Belize in Corozal.

i was just watching the weather channel and how it looks its headed that way im from new orleans n i know how it feels so it really just needs to dissapear
