Live on $1MM a year.

Put the rest in very safe insured financial instruments that have a known and predictable yield, possibly tax free municipal bonds via "litigation proof" trusts. Make sure my offspring each got $1MM/ year for life when they turned 50.

Set up a philanthropic trust or other corporation and endow a symphony orchestra with $2.5MM/ year. Another $2.5MM/year to various ecological causes and or charities.

I would expect to pay out $500,000 year or more for security and legal protections seeing that we live in a violent and litigious society.

I would pay out several hundred thousand a year to make sure that news of my wealth was not known or easy to discover.

I would start a scholarship fund for uneducated single mothers. They struggle to support their kids on minimum wage jobs. I would also set up a drug rehab for meth users. It would be free of charge as long as they were staying clean. Most of them have lost all money and family to support them because they lie so much. I would also give money to the organization that supports foster kids leaving the system. They leave at 18 without any family to help them out. There are plenty of needs in this world that could use 100 million. I would keep it all in the U.S. to help those that struggle here.

i think i would find 10 folks from middle class to lower class -- than rate with money management from good to bad --- give them all 100k each and see if the how the rating would be 5 years down the road -- i have a theory that if we took all of the world's wealth and passed out equilly within 10 years the same folks would be rich again and the deadbeats would be at the bottom!!!

I would jump up and down and scream continuously for about 30 minutes. Call my lawyer and ask him for a personal reference for the best TAX Lawyer in town. Then go to him and listen. Go back home and discuss this info with my wife away from the lawyers office. Go to a different Tax lawyer and listen to him. Then go home and decide which lawyer to go to.

After hearing how much would go straight to the gov for taxes I would again scream and yell on the floor for another 30 minutes.
