What was your worst restaurant experience?

once i was on vacation and we decided to find something to eat on the boardwalk. there was only one option - mcdonalds. so we went there and i ordered a plain hamburger. the person could barely speak english and ended up giving me a bun. JUST the bun. so i said that i wanted the meat, too. so then he gave me the meat. JUST the meat. so THEN i told him that no, i want both the meat and the bun. (this is try number three) and he gives me a CHEESBURGER. (i ordered a hamburger) at this point we decided that that would just have to deal with it and so i ate it anyway.

My own personal experience had to do with a restaurant "chain" and not 1 particular restaurant itself..."Friendly's Restaurant(s)": at 3 different locations, I've had 3 different Fribbles spilled over me (by accident) in 3 different ways...on the left shoulder/side, on top of my head and back and my lap...I had to laugh it off, though...But since I was also a waitress, my worst "behind the scenes" experience was having an order returned and the chef doing "nasty", indescribable things to it...I quit shortly after...yuck!

Well not a real restaurant but I was at LETS JUST SAY A FAST FOOD TYPE CHICKEN FRANCHISE THAT MUST HAVE STARTED IN KENTUCKY.. lol anyways I was eating with my girlfriend and underneath the original crispy skin ther was a DEAD FLY that I alsomt ate into..

not to bad but it could have been.. anyways I got another meal and both meals were free.. I probably could have ate half the fly then sued.. but eh.

It was a restaurant outside of Charleston, SC. My husband and I were on a "date" and I was about 6 months pregnant. The service was terrible. We were seated by a hostess, but a waiter never came to our table. We finally asked another waiter helping a table near us if he knew who are server was. A waiter finally came over, with a big attitude, and took our drink order but then disappeared again. When we finally ordered, we picked pretty straight forward entrees from the menu, but by now, people that had come in and got seated after us were ordering, eating and leaving, and we still had not gotten our meals. I finally got fed up and asked to speak to the manager. He came over to our table and when we explained what was going on (we still hadn't got our food), he goes, "what do ya want me to do about it?" Duh. Never went back.

We ate a sushi place in town, figuring we'd get a quick bite before we went to the fair. We were a couple of the first customers. I ordered sushi, my husband ordered steak. His steak arrived with salad. I told him to go ahead, the sushi should be here anytime. I ended up snacking on his salad, the waitress was invisible, we couldn't get refills on our beer, and she finally said that the chef was training the new servers. This was 45 minutes from ordering, my husband was finished, I was famished, we were both fed up and I said "Just box it up." "Oh, but it will be here any minute!" I had to repeat "Please just box it up!" She brought it out within a minute...on a plate. I repeated "I wanted it boxed up, we have to go!" Then she asked if we'd like dessert. "NO, just the check!"

We left with my take-out box, but it was in my bag during the fair for 4 hours, so I never did get to eat my sushi that we had paid for!

Never attempt to eat at Sushi Mambo.

We had a cockroach crawling on our table in the middle of dinner and the manager did not even apologize.It was at the Ale House in St Pete, FL.It left very unpleasant memories.

The undesirable area of the resturant adventure happened after the fact. I had an exceedingly superb turkey club sandwich on the inn eating place for the period of a go united states trip with my mom. some hours later in the inn room I grew to grow to be unwell at the two ends - all evening. via mid morning i replaced into in fact ok.

the whole family tried out this new mexican joint in town called Los Margaritas,and we all ordered something different,when all the orders came back wrong and by the time we tried to tell himmy how we wanted our orders he was getting really po'd.every 3 seconds we were asking for stuff,when around the corner i looked and saw the fat waiter spit into each of our plates.after he finished every one in the kitchen took turns spitting in it also.well when the order arrived all the kitchen help came out and was laughing and stuff.well i told every one at the table what they did and no one believed me.well by morning every one at that table except me got deathly sick,diarehha and puking and all.i wont ever eat mexican in this town again.

I had a buffet at a dump that was closing for the day AND closing down soon. There was almost nothing to eat and, like, one meat dish. It royally sucked.

once i went to a pizzeria. i ordered a pizza.... the smell was awesome... but when i took a slice .... down on the plate there was a bunch of f..ing long black hairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was almost vomiting!!!! disgusting!!! i had a fight with the manager. they gave my money back. but after that i couldn't eat pizza for almost a month though i like it very much!!!
