how long have you had your periods for?
a year or less?
in the beginning of having your periods your cycle isn't steady yet and your body's still trying to adjust, so you'll be late/early by a week or two, but it'll come back - you can be sure of that, if you're still a virgin like you claim.
i've had my periods for 4 years now and my cycle isn't steady yet, but i went to see a "reflectsolegest" and she gave me some supplements wich i drink everyday and it's going better now. i would suggest you go see one of those "doctors" or if it really bothers you, go see a 'regular' doctor - just to calm the nerves.
so don't fret, you are not weird, ill or pregnant - your body is still getting use to the new stuff developing in your body!

First of all calm down. Your being upset and nervous can affect your periods. Your young and dont have much experience with periods, so I will try to help you. Some women never have 'regular' periods, meaning that their periods are not predictable. Some discharge is normal most of the time. It sounds to me like you need to see a gynecologist, or go to the Free Clinic at the Health Department. At both these places you can get brochures on the normals and abnormals of periods. When you go to a gynecologist or the health department, BE HONEST. If you have had sex tell them so. You will not be the first they have encountered, trust me. There are many female conditions that have nothing to do with sexually transmitted diseases that can have an effect on periods. If you have had sex...there are many more concerns that need to be addressed with a doctor. Possible sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, and the need for birth control or abstinence counseling for the future. Dont be afraid of the gynecologist....you will deal with them a whole lot in the future, it is time you become comforatable going there and talking with them. Best to start when you are young.
If you do end up being pregnant, it is not the end of the world. BUT you need to MAKE SURE to do the right things for the baby, and listen to your gynecologist, you have options.

When we first start having our period, it is usually very irregular and not a bright red color. It looks like a brown discharge. When you get a little older and a bit more regular, then it will get more red, the amount will increase and it will last longer. Some women get their period for 3-7 days, with the last couple of days looking more of this brown color, and spotting.
Don't worry. This is normal. Keep clean, bathe daily. Be happy! You are a wonderful, perfect woman. :)

You are still young. It takes several years to regulate. Dark brown discharge is old blood. how long did the discharge last. If it was a few days then that was your period.

It's very normal to have a brown discharge before or after your cycle. If you havnt had sex, then your not pregnant. It's also normal to have a irregular period, it's more of a concern if you bleed three months straight then if you didn't bleed at all.

If you "didn't do it" then the reason could be stress. I myself had a missed period before coming sexually active, so it could be normal. My recommendation to you is get with your parents or someone you trust and explain to them what's going on. Since you haven't done anything wrong, it should be okay and they would have no reason to get upset. Hopefully it's nothing serious and you'll get a lucky break from a missed period! If it continues though, a doctor visit may be required. Good luck!

If you haven't been menstruating for long, then your periods will take a while to become regular. Don't worry, though. Stress (among other things) can make your period late. If you're really worried, have your mom take you to a gynecologist.

Talk to your mom about it or family member. Could be something normal. You can always call the doctors office and ask. Have mom help or some other person you feel comfortable with to help. The doctor would have the correct answers for you.

at your age it is not uncommon for your period to be crazy. I am the mother of 4 girls ages 16-8 and one of my daughter had to be put on birth control pills to regulate her periods
