I have a cellar that is in very bad shape. I am wanting to just fill it with concrete or dirt or something. My main concern for doing this is that i dont want it to cave in when someone is near it. Can someone tell me about how much it would cost to fill a 10 ft x 10 ft box full of concrete?

dont know where the guy before learned to figure concrete but 10 x 10 with a 7 foot ceiling will take 30 yards...22 yards for a 6 ft. depth...and 19 yds. for a 5 ft. depth. would be cheaper to fix the basement maybe...

Call a local concrete company. I'm sure it will take several truck loads. They can tell you how much each truck loads cost, and how many loads it will take to fill your cubic space.

About $83.00 a yard, plus $60.00 to deliver. A 'yard' is 3feet, by 3feet, by 3feet. The more rocks, and old busted up concrete, plus bricks, blocks, you use the less concrete!

You need 3.7 cubic yards of concrete. Prices vary from locale. You need to price per cubic yard in your area.
