No! (Exodus 20:4, 5) Jehovah says that we must worship only him. He will not share his glory with anyone or anything else. Images have no power to help us.—Psalm 115:4-8; Isaiah 42:8.

1 of the 10 Commandments says:
"NOT TO WORSHIP ANY GRAVEN IMAGES." or
"Thou Shalt Not Worship Any Graven Images,"
This is a Sure Sign of FALSE Religion,
To Be Sure.
Abstain from Idolatry--ring a bell?

FOLLOW The CHRIST.
Those worshipping Him must to so ,
with spirit & truth.
If u need reminders of the Christ's sacrifice...
then there is where ur faith is.
Useless idols is what they are.
They can do Nothing for YOU.
Only Jehovah God can save YOU from calamity.
There is a Scripture that speaks of a man who cuts down a tree,
1/2 he uses for fire to cook & eat his food.
The other 1/2 he uses to make an idol / god in which to pray.
It has eyes, yet cannot see.
A mouth, but, cannot speak.
Feet, but cannot walk.
It cannot help YOU.
ONLY The one true Living God, Jehovah can help you.

in Psalms. This is one of most fav scriptures.
"THOSE MAKING THEM WILL BECOME JUST LIKE THEM"
And that I love; @ times it makes me want to say

But, if I did that;
I wouldn't be showing the love of Christ,

Church leaders in defence of that argument will say images&symbols are an aid in worshiping.However the theme through out the Bible is to worship with spirit and truth,and this entails geting to KNOW the creator well and to getting to KNOW Jesus who came and set an example because the Jews and their leaders were failing despertly.Would you carry a model of a duck to a zoo to identify a duck,or an elephant to identify an elephant.lol

we are only suppose to worship Jehovah God. ps 115 says. their idols are silver and god. the work of the hands of earthling man. a mouth they have but they do not speak. ears they have, but they do not hear. a nose they have but they cannot smell. hands are theirs, but they cannot feel. feet are theirs, but they cannot walk. they utter no sound with their throat. those making them will become just like them. all those who are trusting in them. this is coming from ps 115 verses 4-8. and it is in the king James bible also
