So far, this seems to be the most lazy, I Want It Now, instant gratification, technology-dependent, lowest common denominator/Paris/LiLo/Britney news loving of all.
The technology is useful, yes. But not Totally needed. "Reality" shows are FAR from reality & think we all know that by now.
It'd be SO cool to see the teens & 20s of 2007 *try* to make a big difference in the world or at least in music the way the teens & 20s of the 60s did. (& they did a damn good job, at that) , instead of sitting on their arses & watching freakin Idol.....

I think there's going to be less waiting for things. Like, computers will be exceptionally upgraded so they'll be going super fast. Microwave technology will prosper too, soon you'll be able to cook a dinner for 5 in 2 minutes. And this next example is already happening, no more human cashiers; automated check out lines will be everywhere!
Which brings me to the next point; automated everything. There's already automated teller machines (aka ATMs), a car that parallel parks itself, and autopilot on jets. What's stopping people from inventing a system that cleans your house for you?
And one more thing, I have a feeling that humans are going to get dumber and lazier. Where did I draw this hypothesis from? Teenagers.

Well, I am this generation, and I think it amazes me because just some years ago, we were riding carriages, then now we are flying in space crafts! It's reallyy cool. My predictions for t he future are that there would be flying cars, not just planes, and the flying cars wouldn't be just a smaller plane, it would kind of like a UFO.

I see good things with this generation, but I also see bad. I feel that common sense has been a lost art , and yet an important one to have. I also feel that people now days are loosing how to use there imagination, a machine is doing that for them instead. These two things to me are very important in ones life. It allows us to explore our minds.

I can only hope that media decentralizes and that youtube and others are the start of a democtatic media of the people where thoughts and ideas can come uncensored direct from the artists.

We are losing ourselves to machines. Mayberry and Aunt Bea are gone, we're now slaves to technology. I wish I had my childhood back.
