Thanks Everyone for your help in this matter! Obviously I am not going to do anything about it, but am worried that someone else finds out and does do something about it! I,m really not sure if I want my daughter to be associated with some one like that!

Yes, your sister is correct. See in our society we would jump for the opportunity to put an 18 year old male in jail for having sex with a minor, but there is a place for questions when a female does it. It's the same, she was wrong to have done this and it is illegal.

The age of consent for Scotland is 16, however she is not classed as a paedophile unless the boy is under 14. While what she did was against the law criminal convictions in these cases are rare in the UK, in the laws eyes as long as both were consenting and no manipulation is evident then it is ok.

Yes.It is against the law no matter where u are staying.Because the youngest age to have sex is 16 years old and that is only at Chile.Correct me if i`m wrong because I read it in a magazine.So,when the boy is 15 and he`s having sex,it is surely against the law even though the girl is 18.

16 or not, she can still be charged, if the parents are ok with it, therer is a good chance everything will be fine, but if that boy, or the girl were to do something wrong, you can bet that the parents will call it rape.. This world is sick to even have the options of being with a 15 year old boy, and the girl is obvously not 18 in her mind because she wouldnt be doing this, THey are BOTH still children and this should not be.

I believe a pedophile is someone that has sex with a child whot has not reached puberty. Anyway.....since the 18 year old is of legal age and the 15 year old is not......she can be arrested for statutory rape. Doesn't matter if it was consentual sex.....it's illegal and the 15 year old's parents can have a field day all over that 18 year old.

According to the law, a 15 year old child is not capable of making the decision to have sex whether they actually consent to do so or not. It makes no difference if the 15 year old wanted to do it, the 18 year old is still breaking the law.

A sex offender is even considered to be 18 with a 17 years old. If the 18 y.o. is a male it is a lot easier for them to get this stamp. It doesn't seem fair since they are lumped in there with the 60 y.o. man sitting in the park with binoculars picking up tottlers.

The age of consensual consent in Scotland is 16 for both boys and girls. So yes it's illegal.
