Fly paper To make homemade flypaper you’ll need a brown paper bag, scissors, string, and a shallow pan. You’ll also need ½ cup of sweet maple syrup, two tablespoons of brown sugar, and two tablespoons of white sugar. Combine these ingredients in a shallow pan, and cut the brown paper bag into one-inch wide strips. Poke a hole in the top of each strip, and thread a string through each hole. Soak the strips in the sticky mixture for about eight hours. Remove the strips from the mixture, and after they stop dripping, hang them in areas where flies are a problem.

If flies are a constant problem in and around your home, they can be coaxed into jars where they’ll remain forever trapped. Simply place food that attracts flies in the bottom of a jar with a lid. Poke a couple of holes in the lid so the flies can enter the trap. After entering the jar, the flies won’t be able to get back out. This home remedy to help get rid of flies is inexpensive, easy, and this simple homemade flytrap can be thrown away when you’re ready to replace it with a new one.

If you want to prevent flies from even entering the house, fill ziploc bags with water and hang them near the door. This completely repels flies. In Texas we use them at bar-b-ques to keep the pests away. How it works.. I have no clue, but it does. Give it a whirl. Also try some fly paper to catch the flies once they are in the house. Or a fly swatter if you have great reflexes!! Best of Luck.

I'm not fast enough to use a flyswatter, and I have small children and a cat so I can't use bug spray. So I use hairspray on flying bugs, and hairspray or Scrubbing Bubbles on crawling bugs. It will at least slow them down so you can throw them outside or squash and dispose of them.

If your flies are great in numbers, you can also put out a cut up ripe banana on a paper plate, wait for them to swarm, and then spray them with the hairspray or scrubbing bubbles. Then throw it all away in the trash outside.

Set your house on fire - it will likely dispose of the flies and then the flies who should survive wouldn't really stay. Simple, and hassle free yet effective. You're guaranteed to have 100% satisfactory results!

First where are they coming in at, close off this area. Go to the store Walmart, or a Kmart or somewhere and get someone who works there to help you, maybe just a simple fly strip that you hang up is all you need , I hate flies they are so dirty.

No matter how fast they are you will always catch them in a large fishing net. I do it and then take them outside, drown them in the pond still in the net and then the fish eat them. Sounds cruel but spraying them with fly killer isnt kind and at least the fish get a snack so it isnt all bad.
