run -> dxdiag -> display tab.
on the device information area, you can find the basics of your graphics card i.e. model name, manufacturer, approx total memory. if you want more info, just google the model name.

Right click on the desktop, properties -> settings -> advanced -> select adaptor and it will give you all the details including the amount of memory it has.

focus on shared video memory with your motherboard memory.
get more motherboard memory if the motherboard support shared video memory.
