The walk (or gait) of the giraffe is best described as an amble, though when pursued it can run extremely fast. Its leg length means it has an unusual if not unique gait with the left legs moving together followed by right (similar to pacing in horses) at low speed, and the back legs crossing outside the front at high speed.

the slowest gait is amble, in which the hind leg and the front leg on the left side move simultaneously and the both legs on the right side, too.

also giraffes can gallop, just like horses.
