Corruption is the main cause of evil in India. The other
major problems will eliminate automatically. Thanks to
our youth who are doing a good job with the economy.
India is producing over 30000 doctors each year,
300000 engineers and almost 1 million IT specialist.
All these is just an example. This would only mean there
will be a 3 types of population. The rich the middle class
and the poorest. The poorest will always remain the same
so long as corruption exists. The rich and the middle class
will always find their way to tackle all obstructions. The
poorest will suffer.
The moto must be " Stop the Indian coruption " then
we will see the change.

The biggest thing holding back the Indian economy and natural growth is their religion. The problems associated with the Sacred Cow dwarf the other problems in Indian society. The country is not going to be able to grow when there is feces every where and sanitary problems plague the country. High speed roads are impossible when animals, (not just cows) walk the freeways on a daily basis. Trees and shrubs have to be caged to protect them from the animals and tourists rate India as the place most likely to be badly sick. When the entire downtown of a major metropolis comes to a halt because cattle have decided to have a nap in the middle of the street, you have to realize that something has to be done. I know that it is a religious issue, but something has to be done or India will never get out of the quagmire of filth and ignorance. I have a love hate relationship with India. it is beautiful and has many great things to do and see. BUT... When you can't look up to see these sights because you will probably be up to your ankles in Cow Crap it kind of takes the fun out of it.

Too many impoverished people living in deplorable conditions, the caste system that keeps them there, and sacred cows when people are starving. Al lthis is part of the same problem. Round up the cows and open a few thousand McDonalds and half the problem would be solved.

Corruption and the caste system, i would say are the biggest problems. Remove corruption and 80% of the problems would vanish. Remove the caste system and the rest 20% problems would vanish.
