No, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't develop into a great president. Mayor Bloomberg is an amazing business man. That could do wonder for the economy. Unfortunately, the state the country is in right now required an equal balace of business skill and diplomacy. Current President Bush was a great business man, and look at how well we're doing right now. Without great diplomatic skills, foreign relations go to pot thus cause gas prices to raise, major taxes on imports and exports, American jobs to go to other countries and major job loss.
It's simple historic economics. Look at the last 6 years for example, gas prices went up almost 50%, property taxes went up about 15%, and our electric bills probably increased on average 10%. In the last 6 years, did your pay increase by 30% to pay for these increases on anything other than merit? Nope, the only pay mandates have been minimum wage.

Bloomberg is in his comfort zone in NYC, a rich jewish liberal who embraces liberal politics but he is a fish, totally out of water in the national level. Bloomberg decided to take a step for the new liberal agenda to tax, regulate and punish people for drinking or eating foods, government has decided you should not have. Taking away individual rights in small, incremental steps is the way liberals are trying to force socialism onto the public. Bloomberg bought his mayor position, he can't buy the white house, he will be seen for who he really is, on the national level, when is out of his element.

NO candidates from New York appeal to this midwesterner.
"O C Boomer" has been reported for making an anti-semitic statement. Unfortunately, Yahoo Answers doesn't seem to do much about that. .

No.
Bloomberg is not a man that could handle the job with dignity.
Besides, he'd certainly make sure that bush's, more than 800 FEMA concentration camps, are filled with middle class Americans.

Of course not. He is Jewish, and does not have heritage that dates back to September 17, 1776 in this country which disqualifies his entering the race. We need to stick to the Constitution. Lieberman is a rogue candidate as well, and Arnie is a rogue governor, and no one has the balls to challenge the man (I just don't have the money, or I would. Lucky for him.)

If he were a choice I'd vote for him. Like Bush he sticks to his guns, he is actively seeking solutions to the problems of NYC and isn't that what we hire them for? Too he like me is fed up with the shenanigans of both major political parties and has declared himself Independent. Be it political or no, I like the idea of that. I think he would by far be the best candidate among what is offered up so far.

Absolutely not. His nanny state authoritarian approach makes him a better fit for prime minister of Singapore.

No. He is a left wing liberal loony. He is also a fraud. He joined the Republican party because it was easier to get elected that way. He does not have a conservative bone in his body.
