We just recently poured a concrete driveway, and some of the tools were still laying around, including a pick-axe. Well, somebody came by while we were out and used the pick-axe on our new driveway and on our power meter, cutting power to our house.
We'd also had to replace a mailbox after somebody used our old one for batting practice. We replaced it with a cast iron mailbox. I would have loved to see somebody's face after hitting it with a bat. Unfortunately two cars accidently hit it while parking, causing significant damage to the cars.

I lived in the country an commuted to New York City daily. I came home to find that someone had broken in to my home, taken what ever valuables he could find including items that had more sentimental value than monetary value. I collard the Police, and the Chief who was a friend of mine, came immediately and told me that in all probability anything of real value like my Stamp Collection and Coins were already on a plane going to some foreign country fer sale. Nothing was ever recovered and the man was never caught.

I've never had my house vandalised. I've had a brick put throught my window by the local thugs. I had a CCTV camera in the window that was so small they did not know it was there. This caught them doing it and the police dealt with them.
