I like to acknowledge all the people who spent time to share their ideas and thoughts regarding death in my fist post "Death, a reflection: are you ready to die?" Time, as I’ve gathered from your reflections, is important. So I’d like to thank you all for sharing part of your remaining time with me in reflecting about death. (^-^)

I’m only 18. I have dreams. Beside from being a Christian and beside from knowing that we all are dying beings the moment that we are born, I too am human not to ignore death. I’m not afraid to die. I also worry for the people close to me. I admit, I’m not ready to die. And as some of you have mentioned that people who fear death are those who are not ready to die. But I don’t fear death. I only fear that I might die unprepared. I’m still young and after reflecting about death, it bothers me when I sometimes ignore the possibility of my death, especially now that I pursue first and prioritize my future. But I’m not that totally happy. I’m not sad either.

As I have often said, “I’m half full – half empty”.

Just because it's going to rain, some day and some time.I can't sit and wait for it at my home.Having accepted death as inevitable, doesn't mean that you can ignore life [another fact of life].No body can be fully prepared for either life or death but can always try to do his best.So live life as much as you can.A well lived life always makes death a lesser event,at least by comparison. All the best.

to me, its important to focus on the journey, yes recognize your starting point and that this particular journey will end,

i dont think of our passing from this life as a death, but as a moving on to something else, and yes in some ways it is scary, just as if you were traveling on a trip, knowing your final destination, making stops along the way, enjoying the trip, enjoying the expected and unexpected pleasures and sights, also dealing with the negatives such as flat tires and closed roads, basically having a very nice trip, yet not knowing when it would end, when your time traveling would be over, thats a difficult thing to grasp,
so its very possible to not fear the journey ending, yet since you dont know when that will happen, you are apprehensive
you shouldnt be ready to die, especially when young, just accept that it will happen, dont over worry about it, and be busy living this life, that is what you are here to do,

False reflection? Being per se is not a reflection; it may "send" (I've read one of your answers) to mortal beings, but that would presume a need to send, as Heidegger mentions in his exposition of Parmenides. Reflective grammatical structures, which we can shorten to the semicolon, " : ", can intelligently approach duality without resorting to conventional logic, synthesis. Parmenides, according to Heidegger, foresaw the coming of representational conformity, a kind of solidification that would greatly increase the difficulty of the "visionary leap" from what the greek words* represent into their meaning. Such solidification is consistent with representations of the words death and life, confuting them to be objects reflective of each other, assuming one's competence to accurately grasp that which is unspoken in the words, and so on.

Life is about learning. Death is the way out after we graduate.

You don't get to go home till your done with your lessons.

So don't worry so much and have some fun with your lessons.

Love and blessings Don

There is a quotation that says: 'plan for your life as if you would live forever, and be prepared for death as if you would die tomorrow'
