They have two options, they either turn to crime or they go and work on the large farming estates for a pittance.
A recent report stated that due to the polish now being part of the EU and can command the minimum wage, a lot of farmers are forecasting that their food crops will not get picked due to the lack of underpaid workers.
So it is this type of unregulated employment that the illegals can easily obtain and most of these farmers will even supply accomodation.
One in particular in the Perth area of Scotland has dozens and dozens of foreign nationals working for him and supplies what look like potakabins for them to live in.
funny old world aint it!

I'd be willing to see some tax money go to sending them home. But not one dime for any extras. Just get them out of the country, and being here illegally should be a capital offense. If they sand bag us on name and country of origin, they die, period, no further questions need to be asked, they are not citizens and they are not protected by our laws.
Just satisfy my curiosity, if they got here without money, because we all know the rest of the world is a no-opportunity cess pit where no one ever made a dollar, how about they go home the same way? Those coyotes on the border don't care if the checks come from New York or San Paulo.

Community service in exchange for a basic sustenance benefit. Hostel accommodation. No play=no pay. Persistent vagrancy or any criminal activity should result in automatic deportation to their country of origin.
I have no problem with people who are prepared to prove their value to the UK; I detest the freeloaders who abuse our hospitality.

Theoretically, they get deported.
In actuality, they work illegally, marry a citizen or give birth here so that their child is technically a citizen, and then sponge off American taxpayers and health care system for the rest of their lives.

That's an easy answer. They will turn to crime. Some have already done that because it is much easier than working and you kind of have some kind of immunity. You don't get deported and probably the ACLU will come to your defense.

Julie H has a good answer. They turn to crime.
They could go to their consulate or embassy, and tell them, they will help them get home.

Fresh spinach from the field, is my guess. Extra spicy secret seasoning, of course.
