You can get a new graphics card..

Or, when you play your online games, look at the video settings in the game, and turn everything wayyyy down (start with everything on "low", and see if that even helps). That will hopefully at least make the game playable, even if it doesn't look as nice.

it may not be the graphics card alone... how old is the computer, and even the monitor? some older monitors can't handle the detailed graphics of new games even if the graphics card can. an older pc will also cause issues due to the amount of hard drive space required and thus processor time for the game to run, let alone display correctly

You buy a new card that work, normally they come with an internal generic software to get your video going so you can see to install your software. Turn off the computer and I unplug as there always 5 volts on the board unless to turn off the switch on back or unplug, remove the left side panel, pull the old card out and plug the new in, put your panel on, turn it on and install your software.
You can browse here and on left you can pick a price range. I think at the bottom is something tell about them so you can learn.

I not say you have to buy here, just look to learn what you want and about what it cost!

You probably have integrated graphics that is just sharing memory from a system RAM that is just 512mb or smaller. Get a good graphics card with at least 256Mb on board memory. Better increase system RAM up to 1Gb.
