I am a big fan of the EPL and UCL. I live in Bangladesh where these are broadcast on ESPN and Ten Sports respectively. I will be immigrating to the USA soon. I don't want to miss out on watching the football. Does anyone know what channel would regularly show EPL and UCL matches. What about FOX Soccer or Gol TV?

I had been to the USA recently, but it seems that to watch football or cricket the only option is pay-per-view. However, PPV seems a very costly and I would like an alternative.

Thanks.

Fox Soccer shows an average of four to five Premiership games per weekend. That's basically as much or more than you'll find anywhere, as there are only three or four time slots that these games are played on in actuality over the course of the weekend. (i.e. 10 a.m. ET and 12:15 p.m. ET on Saturdays and 11 a.m. ET on Sundays are the three main time slots for The Prem. and those are played on FSC plus one or two taped delayed contests and if any weekday contest are shown, they'll usually get at least one of those.)

Most cable providers or satellite dish services have Fox Soccer. If you do the research, wherever you move to will provide an option to choose from which will include FSC.

UEFA Champions League Group Stage and Knockout Stages are played on ESPN2 and ESPN Classic and ESPN Deportes. The games on ESPN Classic are taped delayed from the primary time slot. Games are shown at 2:45 p.m. ET live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes and an alternate game is played also taped delayed at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN Classic. Keep in mind that ESPN Deportes (in Spanish) is not quite as prevalent in many markets as the other two channels mentioned in this paragraph.

Basically, you will be fully covered as far as getting to see at least one game from The Prem. and the UCL during each primary time slot but you have to keep track of the schedule because the media here publicizes it so sparsely that they'd just assume you would ignore it.

Fox Soccer Channel shows some Premier League games. Setanta shows whatever they don't show but it's not usually on basic cable. Gol TV is mainly La Liga.

Champions League is shown on ESPN2, ESPN Classic (delayed) and ESPN Deportes.

Live Premier league games are usually PPV, but Fox Soccer Channel covers some of the non-Saturday games as well as shows some on tape delay. UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds, etc. are usually tough to find, but later rounds and the championship are usually on ESPN2.
