This morning, my mother gave me the "why are you not searching for someone to marry" conversation.
In the afternoon I bumped into a guy from an old job who basically told me that no one liked me at work and they always talked bad about me when I wasn't there.
The same night I went to a party and a guy I was having a conversation with asked me "So why can't you get a man?" left the party crying.
I can't believe all this has happend to me in one day. I feel like garbage. I am a really kind person, I volunteer, I take care of an elderly parent, I am trying to get into law school. I don't deserve all this.

Your mother, some mothers are never satisfied no matter what we do.
I used to hear when are you going to grow up and get married a lot. I am now married with 2 children and we are searching for a house on a reasonable budget so we can still enjoy life and she thinks my husband is cheap and we aren't looking hard enough and are being too picky. She will always have something to complain about. Your mother might be the same way.
Your old job, who cares. You have been there and done that so just move on.
So why can't you get a man? Your stock answer should be because I am waiting for the right one and you should be. No more than 3 dates with a man who isn't someone you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with.
Tomorrow is a new day and you survived today.
The best thing about doing for others is the feeling you get from helping them. No one else needs to know and who cares what they think.
Start tomorrow fresh and let the crap of today go down the toilet.

Hey girl......I don't mean any disrespect to you, but maybe subconciously you being very snobby. In other words perhaps you didn't realize that you were being like that towards people and t rubber everyone the wrong way. Or, if you were being anti-social with people, a lot of people mistake that as also being stuck up or snooby. If you held any conversations with people and if you gave them like negative answers or responses, that didn't leave a good feeling with a lot of people. Also body language and maybe facial expressions. I am sure you are a nice person, but it seems like overall you gave everyone a negative impression abt yourself.

We can't control how or what others think about us but we can do something about how we are going to react to these circumstances.
This world is not the world God wanted for his people and so their is much hate in this world but recognize in God you are very valuable so do not allow others to make you feel less then what God feels for you. Know who you are and if who you are isn't like the evil around you then stand tall and don't allow evil to bring you down.

just because you DO nice things doesnt mean that your automatically granted likeness and approval by everyone
im sorry that you had such a bad day but not everyone who does nice things are doing them whole-hearted, maybe you should think about how you're helping someone instead of how your benefiting from it..
