Laser printers work with toner. It comes in a cartridge and is a powder (dry ink). Using heat the toner is fused to the paper. Xerox copiers use toner and this method.

Lazer printers contain toner.. this toner gets statically transfered to the paper using the "photo unit" or similar component.
Once on the paper.. the paper travels through a heating unit to keep the toner on the page.
Toner is similar to ink in the following way: "it runs out".. Toner is often referred to as Ink by "normal people" who do not know the technical term.

Nope.
A laser printer uses a fine black powder called 'toner'.
This gets 'burned' on the paper during the printing process

No.... they work off black power, that goes through a high heat process and fuses the powder to the paper.
with a laser printer it is cheaper to print black and white, than with any other type of printer, you can print over 6,000 pages off one toner pack

Hi!
It doesn't work on ink, but it uses some special liquid/liquids that changes/changes color when laser hits. I think such liquid is called "toner".
It has the role of the ink, but it is not one, since it does not change color by itself.
Good luck!

no,
the paper has an electrical charge, the toaner has the opisit charge causing the toner to stay, then the toner gets fused to the paper.
