Spacedude: i dont think you can ignore the facts and hope that they stop either. There comes a point, and I guarantee you, this just getting into the news tells me that its been known and documented for a long time and is just the tip of the Iranian terrorist connection iceberg.

I guess if we base our decisions on Bugs statements, they absolutely are terrorists and dont care how we handle it. Therefore, I suggest carpet bombing the nuclear plants they are building. Make dust out of it.

Agreed... Iran killed 241 Americans in 1983 in Beirut. A court has found Iran responsible, and In Washington DC on Sept 7th, 2007 a federal judge will issue a judgment against Iran for billions of dollars.
It won't bring back the loved ones - but it will take money from the terrorist's coffers and at least let the families have a small degree of closure after 23 years.

The problem is that once you do that it is a 2 way street. As long as they are just another group, they probably will not up their attacks on the US. Once the US labels them, lots of things happen...money gets frozen, people get travel restrictions put on them ,etc, etc, etc. That puts a strain on their normal way of doing things and they often retaliate. Can you really approve the killing of unarmed Civilians? Most people can't and don't. Unfortuanately that is where most Militatants hide, in the midst of normal everyday people being harrassed by them. Israel was shooting missles from planes at people hiding in schools and churches and caught holy hell for it in the media. Those same people hiding shot hundreds of missles at Israel and little was said! The difference is that Israel let the press in, the Militants did not.

you invade a country and you thought it was going to be easy. When things start going wrong you look for suspects everywhere. The Iranians have lived with American sanctions for decades. They will care two hoots for some terrorist organisation declaration. Anyways, Al-qaeda Hamas, LTTE, Lashkar -e - Toiba,etc have all been declared terrorist organisations. Haven't they flourished. Grow up Americans!! You are being led to your doom by Cheney and his team.
