and when you try and start it it you have to jack the trottle several times for it to start? using the electric start it takes forever for it to fire? i have the air mixture screw screwed out 2 full turns? is that ok? do you think that the gas is to rich thats why its hard to start? carb is clean and jets are clean? thanks has new plug too

Mix it at 32:1
Check the spark plug - messing with the oil probably fouled the plug.
2 /12 turns on the mixture screw is plenty.
If it's hard to start, might need a new top end (cylinder, piston & rings) or just needs the carb cleaned (cloged pilot jet).
If I remember correctly, the pilot jet isn't removable on that model.
It's a tube pressed into the carb (next to the main jet, which is in the center).
Spray through that tube with carb cleaner in a spray can.
If the spray doesn't come out a different hole, it's clogged.
Contact me if you need instructions on how to remove and clean it.

The screws should be about 1 and a quarter turns out, not 2. Doesn't it have a choke? What you're doing with your hand over the carb is choking it, which you shouldn't have to if the choke is working properly.
