I agree that there are certain locations that are not female-friendly.

If you're asking what men can do to protect women in this society, I'd say we need to enforce the laws we have, and make sentences a lot tougher.

If you really want to strike at the root, then men need to step up when they have kids, love the mother, and support and discipline the children.

According to June 2006 statistics there are 2,233,786 more incarcerated men than women in our prision system. I think this speaks volumes for the job father's in our country are doing.

So, if you really want to protect women, then it goes deeper than walking down the street for a bit, or telling her where she can and cannot go. Due to dangerous men.

If you really want to protect women you stand by your family, and children, and you do the work of being the responsible husband and the Loving, Authoritative Father.

Men need to raise their sons. Then those sad, sad numbers will come down, and your girl will be able to go out in public without giving you a heart attack.

there have been a few situations where, yeah, i would have felt safer with a guy i trusted on my arm, but the reason for that is because some other men are sexist pigs.

maybe those guys should be forbidden from ever leaving the womb.

otherwise, i can't think of any women who'd want their freedom tied down to an 'escort'. what epoch did you grow up in?

Sometimes, this seems like a great idea. For example, in a city with a high crime rate. At night, I'd rather not go around outside. If a woman is alone, then that would increase her chances of something bad happening. My mom won't even let me go out at night in our own hometown, a fairly safe place to live, and when she does let me, like when I have to work, she wants me to call her to make sure that I'm okay. Maybe if women had men with them, they wouldn't get kidnapped or raped.

Yes, I think so. Men should protect women and unfortunately women have been so brainwashed by feminists that many actually believe they're "just as strong as any man - or stronger.." (yeah, right...lol). With that kind of foolish attitude they need protection even more as they're not realistic.

Yes. A good man protects his woman to his fullest. My wife is FORBIDDEN to go to the bad part of the city unless I am with her. Still I do not like her going, but sometimes (like when we have to see a docter up there) she goes. If I cannot take her her brother does or my brother.

I don't take kindly to orders outside the bedroom. I will go where I want, when I want and with whomever (or without) I want. Sorry.

Yes, but I would change "forbidding" to "asking them not". This is actually one of your better questions.
