Sometimes when I'm feeling very lazy and want to just rest and watch t.v....I clean during the commercials. You'd be surprised at how much you can actually get done in this time. It may take you 2 or 3 times of commercials, but then your dishes are done. And dust, vaccume, check and reload laundry. Fold the clothes, whatever.......you can really get alot done just by doing that.

Party anthems on the stereo, makes it less of a chore. Wipe up after you and don't go into another room or upstairs empty handed... there is always something out of place that should be somewhere else. Put some bleach down the loo at night and you won't have to clean it as often and lots and lots of white vinegar. It cleans grease with little effort and will give sparkling windows (wipe on with a cloth and off with old newspaper)

When I was a child I was always being told "don't put it down, put it away" and now at the ripe old age of 60 I still say it to myself! I always have a tidy house and a tidy house looks better than one which resembles a skip. You can still have dust all over the place but it will look OK if it is tidy.
Also, NEVER put fabric conditioner in the last rinse when washing towels and tea cloths. It makes them less absorbent.

The key to it is to do it as you go. Keep things clean and organized so everything doesn't become a huge chore. There is always some time to take on a task even if it's not the entire house. And make sure everyone that can has a task to do.

Once you get your house clean, keep up with it. Wipe down the bathrooms every day, sweep the floors etc. That way it is never too dirty. I'd rather take a few minutes each day to keep things in order than spend a lot if time all at once to clean.

hi, one things regarding washing, do one load every day, wash it, dry it, iron it put it away, that way you don't get a huge washing or ironing mountain lol, also do a little each day, get a routine were you do say a through clean in each room one day a week on the rooms you use all the time, you don't need to hoover every day, for example if there's only you at home do it once or twice a week, but if you have lots at home do it daily

try to make a to do list and a daily chores. break it down so you don't do it all at once (like saturday)

involve other members of the house/family in doing the chores.

try to do one room at a time.

gather all your supplies for cleaning, place it in a bucket or plastic basket.

use a timer and time yourself for 15 minutes each chore. if it's more than that you need to speed it up.

i hope it will help you. good luck and happy cleaning.

set your mind to wanting to achieve satisfaction from whatever houseworkyou are going to do. Try to work fast so that you will get a feeling of expertise and professionalism in youself. Dont try to postpond the work as this will make you lazy and your goals will not be achieved. Cheers.

Only use candlelight and spray around with aerosol polish. Then open a bottle of wine - you won't care then. Oh, and don't forget some classical background musi.

Organize the chores. Do preventative maintenance instead of allowing things to build up.
