Use a hard drive that is at least working at UDMA5 level. WD Raptor HDD would be best.
Heatspreaders work best for overclocked/overvolted RAM because they really generate more heat at that "above normal" level.

the ram doesnt heat up as much as people want you to think it does, heatspreaders arent necessary, for games to load faster it depends on the hard drive you have. ram is the fastest component in your computer, its always waiting on everything else, but if your motherboard supports it, putting another Gb of ram will help with load times, the computer can put more information on the ram so that it can be accessed faster,
the hard drive might just need a good defragging, go to start menu>accesories>systemtools>disk defragment, defrag the drive, this will allow the harddrive to find files faster that are needed for map loading and other things.
hope this helps

Before spending any money, try a simple defragmenting of your hard drive(s). This often helps.
Also if you're running the game from CD/DVD, it will always load slower than from the hard drive.
Sounds like you're running a new-ish game on older hardware. If your motherboard has a low front-side bus rating (266MHz or less) there's not much point buying faster memory or extra cooling.

it may not be the amount of memory (RAM) you have available but the speed of your connection or of the server to which you are connected ... I assume you are wireless try getting closer to the router to increase your speed ... good luck
