is there a way to convert m4v video files from i-tunes to be combatible with another type of mp3 player.?

Yeah you'll need to convert them, how you do this or how i do this is when i have the mp3 i need t install the disk onto the computer after that go into it and you'll be able to convert the vidio! Love Philippa---x xxxx
