I even saw the site and it looked cool but I forgot about it and then my sister came up with this idea and I remembered it but surely there must be more so any places you know of that might have a website or information on it online...

Place you can go and just be creative, woodwork, metalwork, beads, glass, anything creative, make frames, make a skateboard anything really....

You mean like the kind of passes they give at a gym, so you can buy either limited entry or whenever you want entry.
I would love a place like that, I have never heard about one having such an entry and use system.

Many community centers have classrooms and workshops that you can use if you go for classes, often you can also go when there are no classes in the rooms.
Sometimes schools allow you to use the workshops as long as a teacher is there to see what is being done.

But with insurance cost and responsibility laws there will be less rather than more places that open up workshops with machines.

Woodcraft use to do this at some of their stores, but many have stopped due to liability and insurance issues. Good luck finding such a place in today's sue happy world.

Wow! Jeez... um... there are probably a lot of places locally if you check them out, build-a-bear, or places were you can make pots and such... if you got google earth, you could find some.
