Not hardly. They would just build up forces, basically using Iraq as a training ground. Using the citizens as target practice and whatnot. Then they would stage a full onslaught attack against Britain and the US with all the people they would recruit and train. We are dealing with small numbers now because they are having a hard time finding people to go against the US and other Coalition Forces. If we back down, there wont be anything stopping them, thus their numbers would greatly increase.

interesting question. i don't know i highly doubt it. america, uk had some bad foreign policies for decades, bad seed. doing lousy homework before stepping foot into someone's elses politics, now thing's have already started.
*interesting information i wanna share: the other night i watched a documentary about palestinian refugees inside those camps in nearby countries, they interviewed the older generations (people in their 70's). one palestinian old man said, " when i was young in my 20's i remember we (refering to muslims, jews, and christians) played together back homeand got along well in palestine, there wasn't any problem like it is now. it was after the british came that we start to have problems with the jews..."

No, there are too many factors, including social and geopolitical factors which makes this area the ideal playground for Al Qaeda.
If they don´t attack western countries, they would attack local people trying to resist to them as it has already been the case in Afghanistan.

Absolutely not. Islam is a fascist religion in that it encourages Islamic govts and the controls of individuals' daily routines. Al Qaeda wants to radically spread the word. This is just something we have to fight.
