Have you seen this programme?
It's disgusting.
Choosing your next girlfriend by meeting her mother. Why on earth would any mother say the things they do to these boys? Today when passing through the lounge I saw that one mother was telling the boy her daughter worked at Hooters and had huge boobs!
And secondly, why would any mother want their daughter dating the drop kicks on that programme? They are rude and their brains are where their gonads should be!
I also saw once where he chose what would be considered as the 'ugly girl' and the boy was so rude to her.
This is not how guys should be acting and hopefully guys don't try to act like this!
What do you think?

I agree with you..... its sick!!! i really don't think a lot of those shows are real ... its like they are reading lines from a card or something ...

MTV is beamed in India and I get it on my TV but I don't watch it simply because it does not belong to my genre. So I can't comment on the show you are talking about. However, from your description it seems to be some kind of a reality show.
Dear, TV shows are shows irrespective of what they claim to be a reality. There is just one basic purpose of ALL shows and that is to make money through commercials. In how many ways one can present a show for long keeping it interesting so that the commercials keep pouring. So they have to add spices.
The Mom you have referred, who was graphically describing her daughter, may or may not be real. But I know for sure there are Moms and Pops who can be vulgar while talking about their offsprings.
Let TV shows be just that - shows which make money by trying to entertain us even if in a vulgar way. See them, laugh if you find them funny and forget. Let them not be taken seriously.

its all just an act cuz in every episode the mom and daughter always talk and even if there out side they hear the door bell ring and in almost every episode the guys all have the same car and when the moms get back the daughters always say what did u tell him and do u think well win? all justa act all mtv reality shows are fake

.Look at any of the dating shows, a year down the road they aren't together and are glad the ordeal is over.If this "reality show" is like most other "reality shows" it is less about reality and more about keeping the attention of the viewing audience.Just why do these shows need directors and editors if it is "real life".I think the participants are urged to be outrageous for controversy .I tell people my life would never be a movie of the week (it is so ordinary, which is not a complaint).Take care

Hi Wabby, It's a way to be seen on TV. I don't think a mom would talk like that about their daughter. I am sure they are told what to say to spice up the show so people will watch. I have never seem the show and I don't think I would what to.

I do think that the show is entertaining, which is the purpose.
I do agree with you though that some of the ways the mom's desribe their daughters is a little crazy!

I think that this show, like many others on MTV is fake. THey hire these actors to protray moms and daughters. It's all for pure entertainment...thats my oponion

they do it so they can get their daughter's some publicity, and themselves, same for the boys too. Its just a show i doubt whether they actually go out at the end anyway. Its pathetic and desperate.

i watch this show when it comes on. yea the boys are rude on there and some boys that are in real life are rude too. if my mom went on a date for me i'd be soooo scared and nerveous i'd be like "aww crap" lol. but that wont ever happen.

It´s entertainment for the underclass!
On the other hand,if you look for your future wife,it might be a good idea to look at the mom and her granny...because thats what she´ll be looking like later...

Simmer Down! it's just a show. MTV makes money from it so it works. They don't care what they put on tv only if it makes money.
