This is part of my chemistry homework. Pls tell me how with details included and also explain any 'difficlut' chemistry lingo used. thx

Measure its pH, using universal indicator solution or a pH meter.

If the pH is between 8 and 11, it's a weak alkali. If 12 - 14, it's a strong alkali.

1.Do the litmas test - red litmas will turn into blue
2. Give a reaction with an acid
3.after reacting with a weak acid ;the solution will contain a lot of -OH ion
