My wife is the 7th GM in 4 yrs & been employed for 18 mths, Past GM's have stolen Cash, Food, sold drugs out of store & ran it into the ground. My wife loves her job, her employees & customers, puts in a honest 54-60 hrs a week. For the 1st time EVER! the stores profits exceeded proj. sales by 40 grand! #1 in drive-thru times, food cost,& labor, out of 18 stores in her district. 2 mths ago, the district Mgr & her husband(ex-owners)&(dir.of oper.) tell my wife that they have a lady who's moving in from out of state & will be her new Ast. Mgr. She shows up & hasn't worked fast food or been a Mgr. for over 9 yrs & is a Very slow learner. My wife trained her from scratch. She's NOT responsible for any GM dutys, EOD, EOW paperwork, scheduling, ordering, ect.& shy's away from any responsibility.
Oddly, Corp. has had her checks sent to her home, not the store. Yesterday, they mistakenly sent it to the store & my wife found out she makes 10,000 yr. more than her to basiclly cover her days off

The Distrect Mgr & her husband were the owners of the store up till when My wife took over, & never made a dime because of all the bad management, and they sold out their shares to the original owners. Since then, the ex- owners have not made it easy on my wife as her Dist. Mgr.

Just what can she do to resolve this issue with her superiors and make things right???

Tell your wife, to ask for a letter of referral first, she should draft it and have them sign it. Take the letter and move on. When she finds another store, ask for a bonus up front for exceeding the projections, so on...Good experience to learn..costly. that lady that came in and earned more money is somehow involved with the owner. maybe a lover? or relative of a good friend? who knows...just move on life is to short, your wife is the star...
